HOLLAND

Cameron ended up having a three day weekend on the 14-16...YAY!! So we decided that we would ask our friends Sara and Robert if they would like to go on a trip with us. We all decided to drive to Holland. Our first stop was Zaandam. This is a charming little town that we believe everyone should go and see. While in Zaandam you can tour working windmills, a wooden shoe factory and a cheese factory. It was a lot of fun. We did go inside one of the windmills for a tour! Which was kind of neat. Next we made the drive to Amsterdam and we ate at the Hard Rock Cafe and then we walked around the walk platz a bit. Sure Amsterdam was fun but nothing could beat Zaandam!

On our way home from Holland we ran out of gas...we where aware of the situation but we just could not find an open gas station near the A62 at that hour. GRRR! But, everything worked out we where rescued and we all enjoyed ourselves visiting and just hanging out. The funny thing is we where only about half an hour away from home and we had to wait for some time. LOL! But we did make it home! YAY!
