WE'RE HAVING A BABY!?!?!?!?!

Yes, you all DID read that right! WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A BABY! Yesterday the 28 of May Tia went into the Hospital to take a pregnancy test. Neither of us was letting our hopes rise too far! THEN...when we got home from work today (the 29 of May) we discovered a message on our machine from a Doctor. So, we gave her a call back and where informed (after giving out "code" word..TOAD) that we are having a baby!!!! Tia should be about 4 weeks along and the baby should be here in January sometime. So...we will keep you updated! Look it says I am pregnant! I know I am weird...

Last Saturday we got invited to go to the pool in Saarbrucken with some friends of ours (Diane and Dave, Liz and Chris. Suzy and Caleb). We went to a pool called Calypso it was really awesome. It had water slides, a lazy river and several different pools (Both inside and out) it also had a large pool with a man made reef at the bottom for snorkeling indoors. It was really cool. We where there for 3 hours...although we would have LOVED to stay longer. We can not wait to go back.

Then on Memorial Day we went to a festival in Kaiserslautern. At the festival Cameron played some games...he won 2 beer steins. Then Tia was spoiled and got the purse that she has been wanting for about 2 years...its in some of the pictures we will add in a moment. On the way home from the festival we decided to stop at a really cool fountain in K-town. You'll see what we mean from the following pictures.

Cameron will be working a crazy amount of days in a row...14 and they are 12 hour shifts. He has also just gotten done with some extra training on a piece of equipment. He is currently riding his bike to work...which the ride is about 8 1/2 miles...but he seems to be surviving. Tia then picks him up from work..to be nice.

Work is going good for Tia. We are still planning on getting pictures for everyone...not sure when that will happen but it will. Other then that not much there.
Well, we need to get to bed. Tia wakes up at 4:00am for work so its getting late for her. We love you all!

A SUNDAY STROLL

Today after church we decided that we wanted to enjoy the great outdoors. We ended up going for a LONG drive...it took us 2 hours to get from our church in Kaiserslautern to our home in Landstuhl. (Usually this only takes about 20 MIN at most.) We drove through the German country side exploring little villages along the way. During out journey we came across this endless field of yellow flowers and we just couldn't resist stopping for some pictures. It was a beautiful sight and peacefully warm and calming atmosphere. The only problem that we ran into was that we got pollen ALL OVER our church clothes. So we will be dropping Cameron's suit off at the dry cleaners. OOPS... Here is JUST a sample of the beauty that is Germany in the spring.

By the way...CAMERON IS NOT PHOTO CROPPED IN...LOL! But it sure looks that way.

Also for all of you that have not seen our car yet and wanted to here it is:

As for the other going ons in our lives not much is new. We are still just planning for our cruise in August. We have had a few changes to those plans...we are now going ALONE. But we have begun to see the positive side of that. It will be a nice romantic getaway for us. We are planning on playing the roles of HONEYMOONERS!! We think it will be a lot of fun.

For Cameron WORK is WORK. They are having a lot of issues with there new chief. But, hopefully he will get off of his power trip soon and let things get back to normal. Cameron is still working his CRAZY shifts! You know..the 12 hour days 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off...etc. We just got his SrA stripes sewn onto his blues. We are planning on taking a few pictures of him all dressed up in his blues...oh wait...we will go ahead and do it now...BRB. We are back AND with pictures. Yes we really did stop...here are the pictures we will be getting some nicer ones done shortly. P.S. The lighting IS bad...we hung a flag up in our living room and we have no good lighting in our house.

Tia is enjoying her new job. It is both good and bad having her work. Bad because it almost feels like we have NO time together however the plus side is she is not so grumpy. She really needed the time out of the house and with other people. It is doing her good. She works rotating shifts and so hers are just as crazy as Cameron's at times. But we make it work. We will have to get a few pictures of her work and her in uniform to put on here.

Well that's about all we have to say. We hope that you all enjoyed the update on our lives. We love and miss you all!!!
