Today we found out that in April we will be moving to Souda Bay Greece. Which is on the island of Crete. We are ecstatic! For those that do not know it is THE Greek island. The biggest island. Souda Bay is not an Air Force base it is actually a Navel Air Station. There will not be many people in Cameron’s shop.

We have already been contacted by our sponsor. So far we have learned that there is NO base housing and we will be living on the Greek economy. Also that medical care is limited and there is only a clinic on the base. The major point that the sponsor made is that this island holds several of the most beautiful beaches in all of Greece. We can not wait!!!!

Wow! How exciting for you guys! I’m glad that you are happy about where you are going to be going next. It’s going to be quite the adventure from what it sounds like! But living off base has its pros too! Let’s just hope you guys can get a good house for the housing allowance they give you! :o) Congrats though on the good news!
