AURORA DAY 1

We arrived to Lester Medical Center on Thursday December 9 at 7:30 am. Ready and excited to have a baby!

Once we got there they hooked Tia up to Pitocin. The first bag they had her on for about 2 hours and her bady was not reacting to it at all. So they decided to change the bag out. Once they did this things started to progress. By about 6pm they had Tia on the highest dose that they like to be giving and so they decided to take her off the medicine for a while and let her eat dinner. AWESOME!!! They then hooked her back up and just a few hours later she got her epidural. The doctor that gave her the epidural was AMAZING! She did not feel a thing and it did not hurt like her first one. We both then sat back and relaxed until it was time to have a baby.
Two pushes later and Aurora made her first apperiance. She was born on December 10 at 3:40am by Dr Papson. She was 7 lbs and 3 oz. She had lots of dark hair and LONG fingernails. She was and still is PERFECTION!

The happy mommy feeling GREAT and enjoying sitting back watching her little girl and Cameron taking TONS of pictures!
Aurora has really dark eyes and we are excited to see how they turn out. We LOVE her rosy lips! They are still that rosy too!!

Look at those LONG finger nails!!

Aurora Snuggling her daddy!

Her beautiful hair. Its black! It will be neat if it stays this color! But only time will tell.
The happy mommy...
