I guess that is is time to write about myself. I really do not know what to write. But, I will wing it.

Ultimately the main thing I do in life is take care of the children. I absolutely love that I am able to be home with them each and every day. They mean the world to me! They are so full of life and fun to be around! They keep me going on my rough days.

I have a hard time being outside. It is awfully HOT and HUMID here. The heat makes me feel sick and tired all the time. So in order to push myself to go outside more with the children I have been trying to set up play dates and outings. If I plan something and tell someone I will be somewhere its easier to make myself get out of the house. I try to schedule one group play date a week and one play date with a different friend each week. That way I get them out of the house and doing things more. Tricking myself into being outside. I love seeing how happy it makes my children just being outside. They don't care what we do as long as its outside.

I try to go diving with Cameron as often as I can. Its hard since we have to find a sitter and one is not always availiable. So I do send him on his own a lot! I love going with him. Scuba diving is such a relaxing thing to do and a wonderful stress relief! If you have not ever been diving you are missing out. I have only ever gone diving with Cameron but I am perfectly ok with that. I love seeing all of the different sea animals! My favorite so far being a sea turtle. (Apparently that is a girl thing.)

The only other major thing going on in my life that I can think of at the moment is that I am now a Independent Scentsy Consultant. I fell in love with Scentsy last fall. I am excited to be selling it now! Right now living on Okinawa there are a TON of consultants and we are on a small island so its harder to find business. However, I know that once I move back to the states it will be easier. I am hoping that one day I will make a decent pay check from it. For now I am making a little extra every week so I wont complain.

Well, I do not have time to add pictures today but I will add a quick picture post sometime this week.

No post since January!

Its crazy to think that I have not written a blog post since January! Its not like we have not done anything fun. We do stuff every week! I always say that I want to blog about the things that we do but then I never do. Procrastination sure is an awful thing! Hopefully once my Facebook account is gone I will be wasting less time on-line so that when I do get on I sit and write a blog. While the kids are napping or having quiet time is the perfect time! So I just need to DO IT!

We officially have less then a year here in Okinawa. We are supposed to be leaving May 2013. So this year we are trying to make sure to get out and do even more! Every week I am planning multiple outings/play dates for the kids and plenty of family outings as well. I love getting the children out of the house! They both love to be outside so much! If only it did not get so awfully HOT and HUMID here! I personally do not do well in the heat!

A lot has been going on with our family over the past 6 months. We have been working hard and playing hard! For now I will give you an update on each member of our family! Starting with the head of the house and working my way down.

Cameron is working on finishing up his Associates degree. He is almost there! Just 3 more classes! I am proud of him! We have also been trying to figure out our next step in the military. Whether he cross trains, goes postal or stays AGE. Where we would like to try to be stationed? All of those lovely questions that come up with military life. We have both been praying about what we should do. I know that we will come up with the best solution possible through prayer.

Ever since Cameron and I have been married I have told him that he needs to find a hobby. I always felt like I had stuff to keep me busy and entertained on my own that he should have his own. He fell in love with photography! He can take some great pictures! Also in the post year he has fallen in love with Scuba Diving and Nudibranchs. He also incorporates photography into this. He goes diving a few times a week. It seems that he just can not get enough of it. He has even found a group of dive buddies!

While diving he loves to take pictures of Nudibranchs (Sea Slugs). Him and his friend Randy have started and run a group where they are trying to identify all of the different ones around Okinawa. So far he has personally photographed 76 different species of them! The group as a whole has found over 150! The Nudibranchs can be as small as a pen prick to as big as a sheet of paper. Occasionally even bigger then that! It's fun to see pictures of all the different kinds! I am glad that he has found somethings that interests him so much! Its nice for him to have things he loves to do that can also help reduce his stress!

                           Chromodoris Geometrica               Chromodoris Kuniei

                           Halgerda Carisoni                          Halgerda Tesselata

What he really loves though is when I can go diving with him! But it's not always easy to find a sitter so that I can go with him! I do try though. I am trying to go at least 2 times a month! I feel like it is important for me to experience diving with him since it is a love of his! We are torn we would love to leave Okinawa in a year like we are supposed to so that we can dive around Okinawa more but at the same time we really want to leave Okinawa. Oh, well! We will just have to enjoy all the time that we do have to dive and make the most out of it! I am sure we also have some dive trips coming up in the future. Who know when that will end up being though!

Look forward to the next update on another family member in the next few days! Thanks for stopping by!

Bye, Bye Facebook! Hello Blog!

As we can all see I have gotten AWFUL at writing my blog. It turned from regular updates to sporadic photo filled updates to nothing. I do have a goal to start writing my blog at minimum one time a week. I believe that this should be easier to do because I have decided to delete my Facebook account. I realized that I was starting to waste a lot of time on there. Even the days that I would be on there for a moment that is still a moment waisted. I can still keep family updated through my blog! Facebook was nice to know what everyone was doing but I think that we kept in touch with people better before. This blog had more depth and was more like a family journal.

The only major difference this time is that I will be writing the blogs. Before I would wait until Cameron had time to sit and do it with me. The problem with that is finding the time to sit down and do it together. Usually when we have free time together we use it more as us time not blogging/computer time. Times that we can grow as a couple, talk about our goals and wants from life, play games, just snuggle and be in each others company.

Sometime this week I will be writing an update on our family. That way I don't feel quite like I am starting from scratch. Sadly I have missed out on blogging about Aurora as a baby like I did with Clayton. But with that being said I can blog about my beautiful little girl now. Maybe eventually I will add a few back posts but I will not guarantee that. If I do that it will ultimately be more for me to have it on here. I would like to eventually fill in the gaps and print a Blog Book yearly. We will see if that ever happens...we have some big changes coming up in the next year and so I will not guarantee anything.

Welcome back to our blog though! I am excited to get it up and running again!!

SICKNESS

At the moment our whole family is sick. Hopefully this sickness will pass by us quickly. Aurora has the worst of it with fevers,  coughs and a total lack of energy. Then there is Clayton with a cough, sleeplessness and whining that is completely annoying and only a two year old could accomplish. We have not noticed any fever with him but then again I discovered the thermometer I have been using is broken. When it read the same temperature for all of us when Aurora was as hot as a furnace. So who really knows. Thankfully I had a few other ones on hand. Cameron and I have a cough and are achy. So nothing too major. On the plus side we are getting plenty of cuddling time in...

Lego Temple

Clayton loves building things with Legos. I asked Clayton what he built the other day and he told me that it was a temple. So I had to take pictures of the Temple that Clayton built.
